It’s no secret that the weather in Aruba is really good. It claims the most sunny days in the Caribbean thanks to being outside of the “Hurricane Belt,” which impacts the other islands in the area. Plus, the weather barely changes throughout the year - it’s 80 and sunny almost every day. And it turns out, because the weather is so consistently nice in Aruba, they don’t actually need an on-island weatherperson for forecasting.

Enter Bill Gremillion.
We ran a fun contest through social media where we asked our followers to send us a video of themselves forecasting the weather in Aruba. We’d then pick the best one and actually fly them to Aruba for a week to be the island’s official weatherperson. Hundreds more people entered than anticipated and we were forced to decide between some truly great entries.
But no one matched Bill’s… je ne sais quoi.
So we gave him the job.
We had the privilege of spending a day running around Aruba’s best beaches with Bill under perfectly sunny skies to capture some silly scripts. He was game to have fun and I think the campaign wouldn’t have worked without him.
